Home Learning and Spellings 10.1.20

Love to Learn

For your maths home learning this week, we would like you to find some foods in your kitchen that have weights on them e.g. 300g. Write down their weights and then write them in order from the lowest to the highest weights. You could also compare some of the weights using comparison signs (<   >   =) e.g. 347g < 4kg.

SPAG - Please practice using commas in lists. Write 5 sentences that conatian lists of things and use comma to separate them e.g. I went to the shop and I bought an apple, an egg, some chocolate and a pineapple.

Spellings to Learn

Mrs Cousins' group - batted,  chopped, slipped, hopped, hunted, painted, jumped

Mr Mason's group - antisocial, antiseptic, antibiotics, antifreeze, anticlockwise, anticlimax
