Home Learning Monday 23rd March
Hi there Year 3! We hope you are all okay at home. We will miss you today but hope that you'll enjoy getting on with some learning.
Maths
This week’s maths is learning to tell the time. Today, watch the video that will recap how to tell the time on an analogue clock to the nearest 5 minutes e.g. 20 minutes past 8 or 10 minutes to 7:

There are worksheets attached below – complete the one that best suits your level of telling the time.
English
This week we will be studying a book called ‘Cornflake Coin’. You can read the book on oxford owl e books (registering is very quick and free). You can register and read the books here https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/api/digital_books/1235.html
Reading: Read chapter 1 of ‘Cornflake Coin’. Summarise the main points of the chapter.
Writing: Open the fronted adverbial sheet. We would like you to write a recount of the chapter using fronted adverbials to start your sentences. Don’t forget to put a comma after the fronted adverbial. If you want to add speech to your recount remember to use inverted commas.
