Good morning, Year 4. We hope you're enjoying the weather this week. It has been absolutely glorious. We also hope you are enjoying your Topic projects and we are looking forward to seeing them! Remember, we loving seeing why you're up to (both learning and non-learning activities) so please share, either by email or on the Padlet. On to today's learning:
Maths
We are continuing our Money unit today by looking at solving different problems involving money. Please use RUCSAC and the bar model to support your understanding of the problems.
English
Today, you need to complete a book review of 'Air Raid'. There is a template attached to the blog, which you can use but you don't have to. SPAG A DAY is also attached.
Topic
For Topic this week, we will be setting you a research project. You will have the whole week to complete your project and you can present it in anyway that you like. You need to choose a COUNTRY OF THE WORLD and research and present information on the following:
CLIMATE (what the weather is like)
CULTURE (what the people are like, what they get up to and what traditions they have, what food do they eat, what sports do they play)
HISTORY (what has happened in that country)
WILDLIFE (which animals and plants live there)
TOURISM (what interesting places/things there are for people to visit)
and anything else that you think is interesting! You could include pictures, videos, artwork, songs, performances. The choice is yours!
