Well done to all of your for a fantastic of learning. We have been busy writing our own stories based on our class text: The Lady of Shalott. The main character spends most of her days and nights weaving and we have been weaving action, dialogue and description into our stories. In Maths, we have been continuing to improve our number skills by rehearsing how to round numbers and also doubling and halving numbers.

Next week, we will be adding to our Maths knowledge by learning about prime numbers, factors and multiples. In addition, we will be learning about squared and cubed numbers. Hopefully by now, you have all got the message loud and clear that we will also be working on our times tables! We need to know up to 12x12 so we can recall them quickly and accurately. If you don't know them, get on with learning them!

In English lessons, we will be learning about balanced arguments. We will be discussing an issue and considering both sides of the argument. We will then be learning how to write this in a formal way, whilst presenting arguments and counter arguments to keep our writing balanced.

Important messages:

-Please remember to wear the appropriate PE kit on Wednesdays and also for running club. T shirts should be white and shorts/trousers/jumpers should be navy blue.

-We are going for a walk to a location in the local area on Tuesday morning next week (22nd Sept). On that day, please wear comfortable trainers to school and also bring a jumper and a coat.
