Chilton Primary School

One Childhood, One Chance

Weekly Blog - 2.10.20

This week we have been enjoying our first maths lessons in class. We have been learning how to carefully count objects around the classroom and outside in our play area. We have also been counting objects in rows and have worked really hard on using our finger to keep on track.

Our Chilton values are very important and this week we have been focusing each one. We learnt about how to be respectful, how to be kind, what courage means and how important equality is. The children have been showing the Chilton way by sharing with friends, respecting their environment, making sure everybody is included and trying new activities.

This term, we are learning about People who help us in our Topic lessons. On Thursday the 22nd of October, we are asking you to come in dressing up to represent Someone who may help you such as, a nurse, teacher, doctor, builder or a shop assistant.

Please ensure all jumpers and cardigans are named - sometimes the stickers fall out. Lost property is already building up in the classrooms!

With all this rainy weather please ensure your child has a pair of wellies in school so that they can play outside during busy time.

Have a lovely weekend and make sure you have lots of rest ready for next week!
