Ramsgate Tunnels
To culminate our study on World War Two, we visited Ramsgate tunnels, which were used as Air Raid shelters during the war. Incredibly, 500 bombs in 5 minutes were dropped on Ramsgate and the tunnels undoubtedly saved many lives. We enjoyed ourselves (despite the cold) and we learned a lot about how people in our area had to live.
