Dear Families,
As we find ourselves at the end of week three in term six, I can hardly believe how quickly this year has flown by. The progress we are seeing from children across the school from their individual starting points is quite incredible. It has been another wonderfully special week at Chilton Primary School, filled with activities and events that showcase the vibrant and dynamic spirit of our community.
This week, our Reception children performed their final class assembly of the year. As always, it was delivered with remarkable vigour and enthusiasm, making us all immensely proud. Their energy and dedication were truly inspiring.
Following this, our older students attended an assembly focused on the upcoming general election. This session was deeply connected to our British values, particularly the principle of democracy. It was heartening to see our children engaging with the diverse opinions of various parties and considering how each aim to contribute to making Britain a better place.
A particularly special moment this week was on Tuesday evening when we welcomed our new Reception starters for September. Meeting and greeting new families is always a highlight, and it was wonderful to see the excitement and anticipation in the eyes of our future students and their families as they join the Chilton community.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks for your support with Wednesday's Wake and Shake. The event had a real energy and party atmosphere, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiastic participation from everyone involved.
Thank you all once again for your unwavering support. Your involvement and encouragement are what make our school community so exceptional. I wish you all a wonderful and restful weekend!
Warm regards,
Mr. McAuley
