Chilton Primary School

One Childhood, One Chance

Friday 4th October 2024

Dear families,

What an incredible week it has been at Chilton Primary School! Our Monday morning started with the exciting launch of Game Day, and the children absolutely loved it. The energy and positivity it brought to the start of the day were amazing, and it was wonderful to see the children arriving with big smiles, eager to begin. We hope this new tradition will continue to create a fun, engaging start to the week, making every Monday morning something to look forward to!

In addition to Game Day, we held our Harvest Festival Assemblies this week, which truly filled the school with joy. Hearing the sweet sounds of "Cauliflowers Fluffy" drifting down the corridors was magical, and seeing the pride on the children’s faces during their performances was incredibly moving. I always believe school should be a place of happiness and excitement—a place where children wake up in the morning and can’t wait to get here, knowing they’ll have fun, learn in an engaging way, and have their achievements celebrated. This week was a perfect example of that.

Next week promises to be equally exciting as we prepare for the much-anticipated Fancy Dress Disco on Friday! The children are already buzzing with excitement, and we can’t wait to see all the fun and creativity that will be on display. It will be a fantastic way to end the week, continuing to celebrate the joy of school life.

To stay connected with what’s happening in your child’s classroom, don’t forget to check out the class blogs. There are always updates and insights into the brilliant learning that’s taking place. Also, please take a moment to watch our Heads-up video with your children—they love contributing, and you might just spot your child featured this week!
