One Childhood, One Chance

Daily Learning 28.04.20

Good morning!  RIDDLE OF THE DAY: What type of room has no windows or doors..?

For your English learning today, you need to log on to radioblog if it is possible to do so.  Mr. McAuley will be participating with you from 09:20 so get yourself ready with a pen/pencil, paper and a creative writing mindset!  There will be a live lesson but you can post your writing on Padlet for others to see.

Here is your Maths learning for today:

Knowing your multiples is essentially knowing your times tables; this is why we always say it is important to practise your times tables!

For those who would like an extra challenge for Maths, try this, below:

Remember, a prime number has only two factors (numbers that go into that number): 1 and itself.  For example, 15 is not a prime number as it has 4 factors: 1, 3, 5 and 15 (1 x 15 = 15; 3 x 5 = 15).  However 7 is a prime number as it has only two factors : 1 and 7 (1 x 7).

Well done to all those who have tried Mr. Wheeler's workout or already charted your historical timeline.  We would love to see your own workouts, which you can upload to Padlet or send to Mr. Wheeler (dave.wheeler@chiltonprimary.co.uk) as a PE challenge!

Lockdown can be hard and can affect people in many different ways.  By being active, testing your brain and keeping busy, you can ensure that you stay positive however at times this can be a challenge.  If you are feeling worried, click here.  It will direct you to a different page on this website created by Mrs. Law.  Here, you can look at some resources that may be of use to you or your parents.  You can also write a message to Mrs. Law if you have any worries.  Please use it responsibly.

Have a lovely day!
