1) To find a fraction of an amount, divide the number by the denominator and then multiply by the numerator.  56 divided by 8 is 7.  7 times 7 is 49.

2) Both sides of the calculation must be balanced.  78 + 32 = 110.  The other side must equal 110.  102 subtract -8 is 110!

3) Multiply each side by 10 to get 56 x 93 then use the column method to get the answer of 5208.  Remember to divide by 100 at the end to get 52.08

4) The bus stop method works well here.  The answer is 297.8

5) 25% is the same as a quarter.  A quarter of 200 is 50
