Once you have completed the task, read the book 'A sweetcorn Salad' - the link is attached below.

A Sweetcorn Salad

Once you have read the story have a go at making some food with an adult. This may be a salad, a cake or some biscuits. Once you have finished; write some instructions for your friends telling them how to make the dish. You could post some pictures of your dish and your instructions on 'padlet' for your friends, so they can see what you have made.

Maths

Today, we want you to to solve a problem for us. In school, we have 3 flavours of ice-cream: Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry. You can put a 3 scoops onto a cone. Each cone must have 3 scoops, but they can be put on in any order. We want to know how many combinations of the 3 flavours you could make e.g. vanilla, then strawberry, then chocolate; or vanilla, then chocolate, then strawberry.

After this we want you to take 20 moveable objects and have 2 circles. We want you to find out how many ways 20 can be shared between two groups e.g. 0 and 20; 1 and 19 etc.

Topic

This week is RE week. We are learning all about the stories Jesus told. Today, we want you to learn about 'The Good Samaritan'.

Watch this video, which tells the story of 'The Good Samaritan'.

The Good Samaritan

Speak to the children about how important it is to be kind and helpful to everyone. They could write a list of all the helpful things they have done this week so far and all the helpful things they will do tomorrow.
