One Childhood, One Chance

Weekly Blog - w.b. 18.7.22

Schools out for summer!

It’s the end of Year One! What a fantastic year we’ve had.

We have made so many lovely memories this year. Some of our highlights have been making rain gauges, peg dolls and clay toys, exercising in the hall with Miss Walker, making sandwiches in Maths, making a healthy lunch in DT, listening to visitors talking about their jobs, visiting Wingham Wildlife Park, attending local walks, bouncing on the bouncy castle and meeting a firefighter.

We have all loved watching your little ones progress this year. We will miss their cheeky faces over the summer, although we will see them back here in September.

The children have really enjoyed their transition days and feel like Year Two’s already. We are so proud of how well they have settled.

Summer Home Learning

Keep a diary over the summer. Each week add a diary entry to tell us what you have enjoyed. Bring these in to Show and Tell in September!

Have a well earnt rest, get some sunshine, spend lots of time together and make lots of memories.

Thank you for a fantastic year.

We will see you in September.

Love Mrs Winchcombe, Miss Hall, Mr Allen and Miss Miles
