Head's Up 4th July

Dear Families,
Thank you all for your wonderful engagement and support this week – it has been another sensational week here at Chilton!
On Tuesday evening, we enjoyed our much-acclaimed Music Evening. It was a fantastic celebration of enthusiasm, confidence and, of course, musical talent. For those of you who were able to attend, you will have witnessed first-hand the vigour and pizzazz that come with the confidence of our children. I was absolutely blown away by the singing and creative joy of all the individuals and ensembles who took to the stage.
A huge thank you must go to Mr Redwood and Mr Coney, who are incredibly talented musicians themselves. The way they have nurtured and inspired our children into confident performers is truly remarkable.
We also had the pleasure of Year 1’s assembly, which was another treat filled with singing and joy. Well done to all the children and staff involved – it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces.
Today brings one of the highlights of our school calendar – our Summer Fair. It promises to be an afternoon of fun and community spirit. My only advice is to avoid the “Soak the Headteacher” stand – remember, parents can get red cards too! I hope you all have a fantastic time and that together we can raise lots of money to support future projects for your children.
Looking ahead to next week:
-
On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, our Year 6 Production will take place. Please remember to complete the form indicating how many tickets you require and, if you are able, offer a donation to help fund all the end-of-Year 6 festivities.
-
On Thursday, it will be our Sports Day, always a wonderful event to round off the term with energy and team spirit.
