One Childhood, One Chance

Team Teal's trip to Quex!

We had such a wonderful time at Quex Park this week and wanted to share some of the fun with you!

First, we went to feed the goats and spend time with the kids. Some of us were very brave, we held our hands out flat and let the goats eat right from our palms. The kids were very lively, jumping around and even trying to nibble our clothes!

We also saw plenty of other animals, including Shetland ponies, hens, piglets, and sheep.

Next we went on an awesome tractor ride around Quex and got to see lots of the bustling farm. It was so bumpy and we got jiggled about lots. Once it became less bumpy, the tractor driver made it go really fast, that was lots of fun!

We were allowed to explore the farm and go on different adventures including the play park, adventure trail and the biggest hit of the day… the bouncy pillows!

After lunch, we got to plant some seeds. We learnt how to care for them and help them grow. The pots we brought home are biodegradable and can be planted into the ground to help our seeds grow even bigger.
