Heads Up 09/10/26
Dear Families,
Another busy week at Chilton, and I want to begin by saying a huge thank you for your support and participation, particularly with our Harvest assemblies.
It was wonderful to welcome so many of you into school, and we have been incredibly grateful for the generous donations you have made to Thanet Food Bank. At Chilton, we talk to the children regularly about our values of Courage, Equality, Kindness and Respect, alongside the Chilton Way: Be Ready, Be Respectful and Be Safe. This week, our families have demonstrated Kindness in abundance. The example you set for our children through acts like these really matters, and we are very grateful. Thank you.

A little reminder at the end of the school day
As our school continues to be a busy place after 3:15pm, with clubs and after-school provision taking place, we would really appreciate your help in making sure that the school site is clear promptly at the end of the day.
We completely understand that younger siblings may enjoy a quick play on the pirate ship while brothers or sisters are being collected. However, once you have collected your children, please begin making your way off the school site and avoid getting out or using other school equipment. We ask that families leave the school grounds by 3:25pm at the latest.

This allows us to close and secure the gates and, importantly, ensures that children taking part in clubs and our after-school provision can safely use the outside areas. Thank you for helping us keep this part of the day safe and running smoothly.
Finally, thank you, as always, for your continued support of Chilton and for everything you do to reinforce our values beyond the school gates.
Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next week.
Mr McAuley
