One Childhood, One Chance

Weekly News 13.3.20

English

We are back to reading Charlotte's Web this week! In honour of Charlotte, we have been writing non-chronological reports about spiders. We gathered information and wrote reports using this information. We included various sentence types in our reports and added wrote captions for the pictures we stuck in.

Maths

In maths this week, we have been using multiplication and division to solve money problems. We are able to use the column method to multiply amounts of money and the bus stop method to divide sums of money.

Topic

We have started our new topic: May The Force Be With You! So far we have learnt some facts about a force called gravity. We know that Sir Isaac Newton discovered gravity when and apple feel on his head and he wondered what made it fall. We have also learnt that gravity is a force that pulls, not pushes.
