Year 2 have had a creative final week before the Easter holidays. On Monday, they collected twigs, leaves and pine cones from the forest school to create their own bug hotels. Also this week, they created their own shoe box habitat, which look amazing!
For home learning over the holidays, we would like the children to practise their spellings and times tables in preparation for the 'special booklets' which will take place throughout term 5. If you have any questions about these, please email your class teacher.
School trip - on the first day back after the holidays (23rd April), year 2 will be going to Monkton nature reserve. Team Cornflower will be going in the morning and Team Sapphire in the afternoon. Please be prepared to send in children with wellie boots as well as waterproof coats, dependent on the weather.
