Dear Families
Thank you all for your continued support and engagement – it’s been an exceptionally enjoyable and wonderfully busy week here at Chilton! We hope that you and your children have enjoyed it every bit as much as we have.

Our Year 6 pupils have had a fantastic time during their Activity Week, with a whirlwind of experiences that they’ll remember for years to come. They’ve been to London, tackled adventure assault courses, challenged themselves at Elevate, and even ventured into the historic Ramsgate Tunnels. Their energy and enthusiasm have been remarkable throughout. As this exciting chapter ends, they now turn their attention to preparing for their end-of-year production – something we’re all looking forward to!
Our appreciation for the local environment continues to grow, with Year 4 beginning an exciting year-long project. They visited Pegwell Bay this week for some birdwatching – the first step in a journey that will see them researching and ultimately designing robots to support local biodiversity. What an inspiring way to blend science, creativity and care for our community!
This week also saw the launch of the Viking Games 2025, and what a brilliant start it has been! Reception pupils had a wonderful time visiting RAPs on Wednesday, and on Thursday, we were proud to host the Key Stage 1 Games right here at Chilton. There was fun, laughter, and a true sense of sporting spirit. Our children competed admirably, and the collaboration and camaraderie across the Trust schools were truly heartwarming.
To top it all off, today has been our vibrant ‘Dress-to-Express’ Day – a joyful celebration of individuality, self-expression and belonging. The parade was a highlight, filled with colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
As we head into the half term break, we want to wish you all a restful and happy holiday. Thank you once again for being such an engaged and supportive community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 2nd June.
