Head's Up 12th December 2025

Dear Families,
As we reach the penultimate week of Term 2, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your enthusiasm and dedication throughout this busy and joy-filled period. Your support, energy and positivity have been felt in every corner of the school.
Christmas Fair
Thank you to everyone who came along to what was a truly wonderful and special Christmas Fair. As you all know, we absolutely love our community events at Chilton, and to see so many of you there, supporting us in that way, was incredibly special. Your involvement is what makes events like this shine.

Reception Nativity
This morning, our Reception children performed their nativity – a highlight of the year and one which rarely leaves a dry eye in the house! They performed brilliantly, and we are all very, very proud of them. Moments like these remind us of the magic of primary school.

Choir Performances
A special mention must go to our wonderful choir, who sang so beautifully at the Belle Vue Tavern on Tuesday and again on Wednesday. They represented Chilton fantastically on both occasions, and we could not be prouder of their hard work, talent and confidence.

Looking Ahead to Next Week
Next week brings our Christmas performances for Years 1 to 6. Please see the Next Week at Chilton section for the full schedule of times and days for each year group.
On Wednesday, we have our Christmas Dinner Day in school – and I can assure you, no one is more excited about that than me!
On Thursday, our final day of term, our Year 2 and 3 children will be heading off to the Pantomime. This is the first Chilton pantomime trip in many years, and we are thrilled to be bringing this tradition back as a permanent feature for these year groups.
As we enter the final week of term, I want to once again thank you all for your support, warmth and dedication during this very busy and festive period. Have a wonderful week ahead, and I look forward to seeing you all bright and early on Monday morning.
