Weekly News 11.7.25
Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that came to watch Sport's Day on Thursday. We all had a great time and it was lovely to see so many of you there to support us.
Transition Days
On Monday 14th July, your child should go into school as normal into their normal Year 4 classrooms. They will then go to assembly, and leave assembly with their new teacher. They will spend the rest of Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday with their new teacher, getting to know them and their new classroom. Please collect the children from the Year 5 classrooms at the end of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (these are some of the first classrooms you come across and you walk though the silver gate where there is a small low brick wall. On Thursday 17th July, the children need to come back to their Year 4 classrooms to spend the last 2 days with their current teacher.
End of year party
On Thursday 17th July we will be having an end of term party in Year 4.
If possible, we would like you to bring in something to share with the class.
We have split it up into houses to avoid too much of one thing:
Red Romans – Drinks
Blue Vikings – Sweet treats
Yellow Saxons – Savoury Treats
Green Normans – Fruit or Vegetable Snacks
Dates to remember:
Red Romans have a non-school uniform day on Thursday 17th July as they earnt the most House Points this term!
14th, 15th 16th July – Transition days; see information above.
17th July – Year 4 party!
17th July – Inflatable fun day in school for all children. Children can wear PE kit on this day if they like.
18th July – School finishes at 2pm for Reception to Year 5
Many thanks
We hope you have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Cousins and Mr Oxley
