Thematic 

This week, as part of science, the children focused on the unit of ‘Light it Up’. The children learnt how light travels and how this is linked to how we see objects. After proving that light travels in straight lines, the children investigated whether objects always cast identical shadows.  

Production 

The children have been working incredibly hard on rehearsing their performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We have had a few run-throughs, and the children have really been working on their expression and body language to convey their character. Props have started to be made, and the backdrops have started to take form.  

We will be sending out information regarding ticket sales in due course. Also, remember the children require their costumes to be ready for the performance by Friday 27th June.  

Love to Learn 

We would like the children to draw a diagram of the human eye. For those who are feeling a bit more creative, you could make a model of the human eye!
