World Book Day

As part of World Book day, Year 6 read books that made them laugh!  The Year 6 text that they focused on was: The Day Crayons Quit.  After reading the book, the children spent time planning and making their own version of the book.  They also spent time in their Reading for Pleasure lessons asking general knowledge questions and spent time researching the answers.  Next week, Year 6 will focus on writing their own newspaper report about the family’s adventure in Kensuke’s Kingdom.
