>All books and anything belonging to you must go home today. Bring bags to school so you can carry it all home! Your lockers must be empty today.
>2pm-Charles Dickens in to meet Year 6 children.
Production Update:
The children have worked incredibly hard on their Year 6 Production and we can’t wait for you to come and see the show! Please remember to buy your tickets on MCAS if you haven’t already done so.
Money Sense:
This week, as part of maths, the children spent a day on ‘Money Sense’. Our focus was on gambling: the risks involved in gambling and the different ways money can be lost or won. In addition, the children learnt the impact gambling has on wellbeing and future aspirations. Later in the day, the children also explored a variety of routes into careers: colleges, apprenticeships and universities.
Year 6 Memories
During the week, the children reflected on their time at Chilton: specifically, their time in Year 6. The children also created an advice display for the current Year 5 children so that when they come in for transition day, they will have some good insight into what Year 6 is like.
