Wow what a fantastic week we have had in Team Indigo and Team Royal, take a look at what we have been up to this week….

Maths

This week in maths our focus has been on money! We have been comparing amounts, making the same amounts using different coins and finding change from £1. Miss Barlow, Miss Davey and I are so proud of you all!

English

This week in English we wrote a recount on the Viking Games! We were all so excited to invite RAPS to our school and had a great time. We chose our 3 favourite activities which was really hard as we loved them all and focused on past tense and time conjunctions.

Guided Reading

This week in guided reading we have written a book report and a Haiku about the book Emily Brown and The Thing. We really enjoyed making our own, here is an example:

Emily is brave,
Thing is terrified of things,
Stanley helps a lot.

Viking Games

We had so much fun at our Viking Games! Miss Davey and I were so proud of you all and how welcoming you were to Ramsgate Arts Primary School. You all worked together beautifully and cheered each other on. Well done Team Indigo and Team Royal!

PSHE

What a wonderful way to end our term celebrating our Be Here, Be You, Belong with our colour run!

Class Photos - Thursday 22nd June

Summer Fair – Friday 23rd June

Friday 16th June white paper bags will be sent out to decorate and fill with sweets, treats or small toys for the Lucky Dip stall.

Monday 19^th June Team Indigo Monkton Nature Reserve

Wednesday 21st June, we will hold a non-uniform day in exchange for a bottle of something for the tombola stall.

Monday 26^th June Team Royal Monkton Nature Reserve

Reception and Key Stage One Sports Day – Wednesday 5th July 9:15 - 12:00 Full details coming soon!

Chilton transition days for Years 1 – 5 – Monday 17th July to Wednesday 19th July - The children will spend three days with their teachers for the new academic year.

Inflatable Fun Day – Thursday 20th July - We will have several inflatables on the playground for a reward for all of the children at the end of the school year.

Final Day of Term – Friday 21st July - We will be waving goodbye to our Year 6 children from 1:00 and the rest of the children will finish school at 2:30.
