Good Morning Team Sky and Team Ocean,

This week is whizzing by and it's Wednesday already! How are you feeling this week? Have you been out for some nice walks? Miss Keam and Miss Davey have been working hard wih the Year 1 children at school and miss you lots!

Listen to the 90s playlist here:

Fact of the day:

Have a look at the picture below, these were the types of phones we had in the 90s! Miss Barrow had all of the phones from 1998 onwards!

Morning Journal: If you could design your own game. What would you call it? Who is the main character? What is the storyline?

Guided Reading:

Today we would like you to read pages 12-21 of Rumpelstiltskin and you are going to be a questioner.

Write down at least 5 questions that you could ask from what you have read. Remember to start your questions differently (who, what, where, when, how, why) and finish your questions with a question mark.

Today you are going to write a diary entry as the Goblin.

  • Recount the events that have happened to the Goblin from what you have read today (pages 12-21)
  • Remember to include how the Goblin felt during the events that happened to him and explain why.
  • Remember when writing a diary entry you are writing in role so using ‘I’ and ‘me’ NOT he/she

Challenge: Can you use a range adjectives to describe feelings, events and settings?

(There is a sheet attached to help you!)

MOS- Play a game of maths hangman. Here are the instructions!

Main- Today you are going to be carrying on telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes and solving some word problems about telling the time. Use the learning reminder sheet attached to help you!
