Year 2's learning 11th January 2019
This week, the children have been recapping their place value knowledge by rounding numbers to the nearest ten. They have also been estimating where numbers would go on an empty number line.
In English, they have been using descriptive language to describe characters from our class text, 'Traction Man'. They have also been acting out scenes from this text. Check out our pictures!
Home Learning
We would like the children to practise their times tables. They can practise this however they like: make a game, counting or there is a game called 'hit the button' which the children play in class.
The times tables we would like the children to practise are: 2s, 3s, 5s, 10s and as a challenge, they can practise 4s.
