In maths, year 2 have been using their times table knowledge to solve division problems counting in steps of 2, 5 and 10 with some children being challenged to count in 4s.
In English, the children have read the book 'Max' which is about a baby superhero. The children have written from different perspectives using skills such as selecting ambitious adjectives and adverbs, using a range of punctuation and writing in the first person.
Next week, the children will be recapping reading time so please practise telling the time at home and children ar encouraged to wear watches to help.
