In maths this week, year 2 have been looking at using the inverse (opposite) to solve problems. They can use these skills when finding missing numbers e.g. 34 + ? = 57. They can then use the inverse operation e.g. 57 - 34 = 23.

In English, the children have been retelling the story of the lonely beast. They have focussed on using paragraphs to separate their information as well as using adjectives and adverbs to describe and using a range of punctuation.
