Love to Learn

This week we would like the children to collect some information and present it in a bar graph. Some ideas for this could be;

- count the different types of vehicles that go down a road e.g. lorries, bikes, cars, motorbikes etc

- ask your friends and family what their favourite foods/colours/tv programmes are

- count the number of different things in the park e.g. number of trees, leaves, slides, swings, benches

Remember to think carefully about what your scale should go up in - will it fit on the page if you go up in ones, or do you need to go up in 2s, 5s or 10s? Can you give your bar graph a title?

If you would like some squared paper for this, the children are welcome to take a piece from the classroom.
