One Childhood, One Chance

Thursday 30th April

Happy Thursday Year 4!

It has been so lovely catching up with you this week. Some of you have been finding it difficult to find the motivation to stick to your learning which is COMPLETELY understandable! The best thing about school is that we are in it together and we help each other. We can see our friends learning and that makes us want to do well! Keep uploading your pics onto padlet and remember to ask each other and us for help if you need it. We are loving seeing your work and are happy to respond to your emails so do stay in touch - we want you to keep learning, stay safe and most importantly, be happy!

Maths

Today you will be looking at AREA This picture is a GREAT way of remembering the difference between area and perimeter!

GR and English

Today's GR is about pirates and the writing activity....isn't writing!! It's a chance to get creative. We'd like to see your interpretation of a pirate ship. You are always far more creative than us so we can't wait to see what you come up with!

There is a new spagaday and I have uploaded Wednesday with answers so you can mark your own from yesterday!

RE

We are continuing our learning with Buddhism. Today you will learn about a festival called Loy Krathong. Here is a link to a video of the festival in action:

There are worksheets attached below if you would like to complete them but you can also talk about the festival with your family.

Have a wonderful day everybody!
