One Childhood, One Chance

Monday 6th July

Hi Y4! We hope you had a super weekend and feel refreshed ready for a great week of learning!

English

AMAZING ALIENS!

For many years, humans all over the world have wondered whether we really exist. Well, I can tell you we do and, what's more, we have been getting up to all sorts of mischief on our visits to Earth! Now I’m hoping we can help you with your writing and inspire you to believe that aliens are amazing!

Read the information text attached and complete the range of activities (today and tomorrow) which forms a basis to this week's learning.

Maths

Today's Maths skill looks at the properties of triangles - use the PowerPoint slide to build your knowledge and then complete thevaried fluency and reasoning questions set.

SPaG

Your SPaG tasks focus on 'paragraphs' and common exception words - look at the document and 'PowerPoint' attached and complete at your leisure across the week.

Afternoon Activities

Please look at the document attached which offers a range of wider curriculum activities for you to complete throughout the week - enjoy!

Weekly 'THRIVE' Activities

Please find attached this week's THRIVE activities; Thanet Inclusion Service provide these activities for parents/carers to complete with their children which supports their well-being.

VIKING ISOLATION GAMES!

Please see attached this week's message and challenge from Mrs Knight!

ALSO...

Hope in Year 6 challenged Mrs Law to complete the Viking Lockdown Games Triathlon. So here’s the evidence! 5k run, 5k walk, 5k bike ride.

Mrs Law would like bonus points because it was very windy and quite early on a Saturday. We hope you can try some of the challenges this week!
