At Chilton Primary School we firmly believe in “One Childhood, One Chance” because every minute counts. From our children’s first moments with us in Reception as they learn how to be a great learner, to their final days in Year 6 as they ready themselves for the next step in their education, all that we do at Chilton focuses on every child becoming the best that they can be; to truly fulfil their every potential. Well-being, happiness, success and collaboration are the cornerstones of excellence in learning and our core purpose puts every child first.

Chilton children demonstrate excellent attitudes towards learning, enabling them to take greater responsibility for their own education and how it is delivered - to ensure it equips them with the aptitudes they need for the future in secondary school, higher education, university or the world of business and commerce. We work to make Chilton a school with outstanding results and a well-deserved reputation for academic rigour delivered through an innovative and enterprising curriculum. Chilton Primary School children come from all faiths, ethnicities and background and as a result, create a rich and varied learning culture where everyone, whatever their ability, is challenged to do better and supported to achieve. We place high emphasis on catering for the well-being of chuldren emotionally as well as educationally and physically. Our school environment is stunning and celebrates children's achievements and success. At Chilton, children are confident, articulate and well-rounded individuals, who work hard to achieve their very best. Our school values of RESPECT, EQUALITY, COURAGE and KINDNESS are fundamental to the school experience that we provide. Our children learn about each other and the world in a happy and safe school.
Chilton Primary School is committed to developing its staff to ensure they are always at their professional best. In practice this means time in the week dedicated to training and collaborative planning, as well as providing opportunities for staff members to take initiative and apply their own ideas. Chilton staff are enthused and motivated by a passion for their profession. We know that getting better never stops and our culture of high expectations for all means that we will leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of excellence in everything that we do.
We see our school as an active part of the local community, and this community, with its people, businesses and other organisations, as vital constituents in our curriculum and educational programme. We will give everyone a voice and opportunities to shape their ideas and together we will set a new standard of what a school can be - this will be the schools guiding aim, built on our principle "One childhood, one chance."
